A.W. Tozier wrote a book called “Knowledge of The Holy” and one sentence stands out to me… “that a Christian can go their entire lives without once ever thinking about the being of God”. I believe if we are to think rightly of God…to contemplate who God is, a few things are essential in taking that journey. First, is the art of quieting the soul. Until we are able to shut off the noise around us AND inside us, it’s hard to hear what God is trying to teach us about Him. Second, we need to be aware of where we are getting our information. I believe the best source and only source to get our information about God is the Bible. That might make me close minded but it’s never let me down…the words on those pages are truly alive. Seth Buchanan sang this song…his voice is so unique. The song has a mysterious feel to it and Seth’s voice fit it perfectly.
