I stopped to get gas one night. It was an old gas station so it didn’t have “pay at the pump”…so I walked inside the store to pay and the girl behind the counter seemed to need some encouragement. We talked for a moment and I hope my words lifted her spirits. That brief conversation was the inspiration for this song. The song is about 2 friends sitting down and talking…allowing time to stand still and cell phones to be shut off!! Its one friend reminding the other about this wild guy named Jesus who is the embodiment of love and life and having the courage to embrace the mystery that comes with believing.
